The session was a bit complicated: at first, very few cars went out on the track, and then they found a quite dirty and challenging asphalt. As time went by, the low temperatures increased the difficulties, but this did not prevent the Mercedes from reaffirming their dominance, which they have consistently shown in all the weekend sessions.
McLaren and Ferrari also continue in the fight, as was demonstrated in yesterday's sessions. Both teams are fighting for the best positions with their two drivers, showing solid and consistent performance. They have made it clear that they have everything they need to compete at the top this weekend.
On the other hand, Red Bull had a difficult start. Yesterday they revealed that they brought the wrong rear wing for the race, which affected the team's performance. Both Max Verstappen and Checo Pérez seemed uncomfortable in the first minutes of this practice, even after the modifications and work carried out on their cars. Both drivers expressed on several occasions that the car was practically impossible to drive and that they did not feel comfortable at all. However, in the final minutes of the session, Max Verstappen managed to show notable improvement, finishing in the top 5.
Both the Haas and the Williams seemed much more confident in this last practice. Their consistent performances allow them to position themselves as serious candidates to fight for points in the race, showing significant progress compared to previous sessions.
In the final minutes of the session, a red flag was caused by Lance Stroll, whose car began emitting smoke, apparently due to engine problems. This incident interrupted the activity on the track and prevented many drivers from completing their fastest laps or even starting them, generating frustration among several teams.

Piastri 1.33.78
