The Dutchman suggested that his next career move could potentially be his last. Currently, he is in a fierce battle for the championship with Lando Norris, but he gave the impression that his time with Red Bull is uncertain. There’s even speculation that he might consider leaving the sport altogether.

Rumors regarding Verstappen’s future have been circulating for months. His last decision might simply involve an extension to his current contract with Red Bull, set to end at the close of 2028. Still, there are reports of interest from other teams. Mercedes is keen on him, though Toto Wolff has tried to downplay the speculation, especially after signing Kimi Antonelli for 2025. Additionally, with Adrian Newey's recent move to Aston Martin, Lawrence Stroll’s team might also be looking to secure Verstappen's signature, relying on his close relationship of trust with Newey.
